Hi everybody!
Today we would like to write about our Carnival time celebrations.
Two weeks ago it was time to celebrate Carnival. Galician Carnival has its own traditions and disguises, with deep roots in our popular culture. All around our town there are many different places where Carnival is celebrated with particular characters and performances.
Laza
Sande
Xinzo
It is a traditional Carnival kept by people for centuries which coexists with the disguising carnival party, especially celebrated by the young people.

Carnival
disguises show colour, fun and imagination, having each year some
trendy topics.
We haven’t missed
a chance to celebrate Carnival at school, first we got lot of fun all
over the week, by wearing each day, from Monday to Thursday, a
different disguise garment: a headdress, a pair of glasses, some colour socks and an apron.
Fortunately,
after a 2021 without Carnival due to pandemic, this year we performed Carnival again along the town's streets. Students and teachers all
together went to a parade on Friday 25th
sharing different characters and disguises determined by the school level.
Finally, we still had free days, till Wednesday 2nd March, to enjoy Carnival with friends.
